Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walter Carlsson started the match with the kick off. Edmundo Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Paulo Fonseca went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Fonseca in the 19th minute of play forced Aparicio SS's goalkeeper Edmundo Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Muquilao's Léo Moreno got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Muquilao's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Carlsson came free, but Armando Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Edmundo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Fonseca in the 30th minute of play. Walter Carlsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Armando Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aparicio SS's zone, Luiz Paulo Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Mazza came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 minutes of play, Aparicio SS's Caco Pinheiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Muquilao defense, Walter Carlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Faria. The Muquilao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Faria should have stopped the shot. Walter Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Armando Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Walter Carlsson made a precise shot to the right of Armando Faria. Muquilao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Armando Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Arruda in the 63rd minute of the match. Aparicio SS's Edmundo Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Fonseca in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute Flávio Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Fernando Arruda notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Muquilao's Armando Faria. Armando Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Mathias Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muquilao's goalkeeper Armando Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walter Carlsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Faria. Armando Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 97th match minute, Muquilao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Walter Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aparicio SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
