Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedito Branco started the match with the kick off. Dagoberto Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Lopes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Arruda in the 13th minute of play forced Macacos FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dagoberto Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Roque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Arruda couldn't finish the play. Benedito Branco struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Anselmo Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macacos FC. Anselmo Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Macacos FC's Benedito Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rafael Castro's late challenge caught a Roque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Castro helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bebeto Lopes came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Roque FC's Duda Alves. But to his dismay, Duda Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Juan Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Edinho Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Macacos FC's Bebeto Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Alves in the 35th minute of play. Cícero de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedito Branco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anselmo Cosme. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Duda Alves made the kick off in the second half. Benedito Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedito Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Cosme came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Macacos FC's Betinho Vergílio. But to his dismay, Betinho Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duda Alves in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Lopes saved Macacos FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Betinho Vergílio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After having played for 64 minutes, Dagoberto Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Betinho Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roque FC's Anselmo Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bebeto Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Arruda in the 67th minute. After 72 minutes of play Macacos FC's Rafael Castro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 73rd match minute, Macacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Castro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Arruda got free with Bebeto Lopes in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dagoberto Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bebeto Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
