Laércio Sabóia started the match with the kick off. Betinho Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Zanette having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Branco in the 18th minute of play forced Putiri SS's goalkeeper Kléber Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Nelsinho Eger came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Putiri SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Eger couldn't finish the play. After 27 minutes, Benedito Branco made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Putiri SS's Kléber Zanette tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Cícero de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Laércio Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Macacos FC's Tiago Queiroz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Laércio Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Lopes having to interfere. Betinho Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Putiri SS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dé da Fonseca hit a great ball. Benedito Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Kléber Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Macacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Sabóia came free, but Bebeto Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betinho Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Kléber Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macacos FC. After a defensive mix-up in Putiri SS's zone, Benedito Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Zanette came out of the goal and Benedito Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betinho Vergílio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kléber Zanette firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Putiri SS's Pedrão Brodel got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Putiri SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Macacos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
