ACADEMY TOHO's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Atlético Baianiense F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Britto. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dorival Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Eliézer Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Atlético Baianiense F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Luz came free, but Bruno da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Oliveira scored 0-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Vander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorival Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jeremias Vander made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, ACADEMY TOHO's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Freire came free, but Jeremias Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Baianiense F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
