After 3 minutes, Zeca Saraiva made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Torquato's Armando Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Edson Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Yamarashi Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Esteves couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Torquato getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Décio Coelho hit a great ball. Wilton Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Yamarashi Club's André Luiz Pinho tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rui Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Santos having to interfere. If Zeca Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Torquato and the Yamarashi Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Torquato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Yamarashi Club's goalkeeper Celsinho Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo de Mendonça. Chiquinho Simões hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Abelardo de Mendonças short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Celsinho Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rui Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Santos having to interfere. Armando Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Esteves in the 79th minute of the match. If Abelardo de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Torquato's Rui Perez in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yamarashi Club's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Abelardo de Mendonça got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 92nd minute, Geovanni Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celsinho Santos. The goal made the score 1-1. 95 minutes into the match, Torquato's Abelardo de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torquato were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Yamarashi Club to leave the ground with a draw.
