Kléber Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Alberto Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Luiz Palmeira. ECBahia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. André Luiz Palmeira was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Dito Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dito Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. ECBahia's André Luiz Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Paraense in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ECBahia's Ademar França got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, Louveira EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Dito Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luiz Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Alberto Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. André Luiz Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luiz Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Arruda in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alberto Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Louveira EC booed when ECBahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dito Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Catarinense having to make a save. Dito Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Alberto Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Arruda took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Luiz Palmeira. André Luiz Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Dito Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Palmeira having to interfere. Alberto Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luiz Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Arruda went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Louveira EC fully deserved thier win.
