Júnior Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Júnior Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jandaira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Goyanninha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Goyanninha booed when Jandaira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Cauan Fantini fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Hoffmann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Bueno in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldão Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles da Rocha having to make a save. Charles da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Bueno in the 40th minute of play. If Ronaldão Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Borges made a kick off. Charles da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júnior Borges in the 51st minute. Cauan Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
