Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valério Fernandes kicked off to start the match. If Ernesto Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Matos in the 6th minute of play forced Jarinu SC's goalkeeper Isaltino Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarinu SC's Valério Fernandes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedé Paulista. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Felipe Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Teles having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Ernesto Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Isaltino Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilson Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilson Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Gilson Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Valente FC's Sidney Maia got a free kick in the 24th minute. Victor Guerra shot from long distance in the 25th minute, but Dedé Paulista was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Augusto Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Valente FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sidney Maia hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Olívio Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Matos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Matos in the 40th minute of play forced Jarinu SC's goalkeeper Isaltino Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Olívio Botelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaltino Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Olívio Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valente FC and the Jarinu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Valente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Victor Guerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isaltino Teles didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 57th match minute, Valente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Maia to maneuver through the defense. Dedé Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Ernesto Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felipe Matos came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Valente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Matos couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarinu SC's Isaltino Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Matos in the 68th minute of play. Felipe Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Teles having to interfere. Isaltino Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarinu SC's Isaltino Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Jarinu SC from getting a goal against them. Isaltino Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Matos in the 78th minute of the match. Isaltino Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Xavier in the 79th minute. In the 87th match minute, Jarinu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Matos in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Jarinu SC's zone, Ernesto Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Teles came out of the goal and Ernesto Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaltino Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Matos in the 94th minute of the match. Valente FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
