Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arabela's Marcelinho Macedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 18 played minutes Arabela got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Vinhas. After some careless play in the Arabela defense, Maurinho Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Carlos Seco. The Arabela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Carlos Seco should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Vinhas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Alcântara was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Arabela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Intendencia SC's Romeu Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Macedo in the 37th minute of play. Marcelinho Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Vergílio having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Nico Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intendencia SC's Romeu Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Arabela's Marcelinho Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeu Vergílio. Romeu Vergílio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 47 minutes into the game, Arabela's Nico Velloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Maurinho Luz made the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Sydney Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Intendencia SC and the Arabela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Intendencia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Célio Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Carlos Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Célio Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Nico Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Macedo in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Célio Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeu Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Intendencia SC's Jeferson Barbosa got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Romeu Vergílio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marcelinho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
