Isaltino Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Célio Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Teles having to interfere. When Glauco Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarinu SC's protests and gave Glauco Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Intendencia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Arantes came free, but Romeu Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Intendencia SC's Célio Koehler made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Intendencia SC's Jeferson Barbosa got a free kick in the 91st minute. Intendencia SC's Romeu Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Intendencia SC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Jarinu SC's zone, Célio Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Teles came out of the goal and Célio Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
