Dedé Paulista didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Célio Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Paulista having to interfere. Valente FC's Dedé Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Luz in the 9th minute of play. If Felipe Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Koehler scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Paulista made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Célio Koehler sent off a good shot on target. Gilson Vander hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Romeu Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Xavier in the 25th minute of play. Romeu Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Intendencia SC booed when Valente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Intendencia SC's Romeu Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Xavier in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Intendencia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Matos came free, but Romeu Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Vergílio having to interfere. Intendencia SC's Romeu Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Xavier in the 40th minute of play. Romeu Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Matos in the 41st minute of the match. Ernesto Xavier took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Vergílio. Romeu Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Felipe Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Vergílio having to interfere. Romeu Vergílio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Valente FC's Ernesto Xavier. But to his dismay, Ernesto Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Valente FC's Sidney Maia in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Intendencia SC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeferson Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeferson Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Intendencia SC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Barbosa. Felipe Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Vergílio having to interfere. Dedé Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jeferson Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ernesto Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Romeu Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Barbosa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ernesto Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Vergílio having to interfere. Felipe Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Matos in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Valente FC's Ernesto Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Valente FC's Olívio Medeiros got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Nelsinho Chaves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Paulista skillfully saved the ball. Célio Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedé Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Célio Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Valente FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
