Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 45 minutes of play Jarinu SC's Mateus Lucas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mateus Lucas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. If Marcelinho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Arantes made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Velloso got free with Isaltino Teles in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelinho Macedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Teles. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Vinhas during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Arabela got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Vinhas. Antônio Carlos Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Arantes in the 77th minute of play. The Arabela fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Arabela's Nico Velloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Jarinu SC booed when Arabela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Antônio Carlos Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Franklin Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarinu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Carlos Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arabela's Antônio Carlos Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Arantes in the 89th minute of play. When Jeremias Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arabela's protests and gave Jeremias Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arabela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Victor Guerra placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 93 minutes of play Arabela's Jeremias Palmeira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes into the game, Cipriano Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Isaltino Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Jarinu SC defense, Nico Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaltino Teles. The Jarinu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaltino Teles should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arabela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
