Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amadeu Prestes kicked off to start the match. If Didi Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adilson Vinhas in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Goiano saved Abico SS from getting behind. Adilson Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Luisinho Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abico SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quandus EC the free kick. The supporters of Quandus EC booed when Abico SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Goiano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Vinhas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Correia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diogo Goiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Didi Correia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. Dadá Passos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Didi Correia in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diogo Goiano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Adilson Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Diogo Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Mendonça got free with Yuri Negri in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quandus EC's Didi Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Abico SS getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dadá Passos hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Adilson Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Abico SS's zone, Didi Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Goiano came out of the goal and Didi Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisinho Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Negri having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abico SS's goalkeeper Diogo Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luisinho Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Yuri Negri made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Abico SS's André Luiz Lago got a free kick in the 79th minute. Luisinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abico SS's Diogo Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Correia in the 86th minute of play. If Didi Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quandus EC's Adilson Vinhas in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abico SS's goalie prevented a goal. Quandus EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Didi Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quandus EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Abico SS for a fine match.
