Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiko Campidelis started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Garrafa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vaz to maneuver through the defense. When Kiko Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrafa AD's protests and gave Kiko Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. Kiko Campidelis hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, Laerte Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tefe and the Garrafa AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Tefe got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Arce. Garrafa AD's Jaime Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kiko Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gugu Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tomé Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto da Mata in the 20th minute of play. Jaime Batista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. Sydney Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tomé Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrafa AD's Tomé Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto da Mata in the 29th minute of play. Pedro Augusto da Mata hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gugu Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Batista in the 36th minute. If Sydney Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Nóbrega having to interfere. Gugu Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Batista in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Tefe's goalkeeper Gugu Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Batista. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kiko Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gugu Nóbrega having to make a save. Sydney Corrêa might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomé Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Corrêa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Batista in the 66th minute of play forced Tefe's goalkeeper Gugu Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Garrafa AD's Kiko Campidelis in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tefe's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Kiko Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kiko Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Pedro Augusto da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Kiko Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Garrafa AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tefe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
