Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Quindiua FC's Júlio de Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Raimundo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Júlio de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Jonas Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quindiua FC's Júlio de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio Luís de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Raimundo Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raimundo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quindiua FC's Donatello Barreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Quindiua FC from getting a goal against them. Diogo Meira hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Jano da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagoinas SC's protests and gave Jano da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Jano da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Quindiua FC's Washington do Vale tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Jonas Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lagoinas SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ramón Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes into the match, Lagoinas SC's Raimundo Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Cruz made a kick off. Quindiua FC's Donatello Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Cruz in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Quindiua FC's Júlio de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Raimundo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís de Godoy took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Melo. Ramón Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jano da Fonseca hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Quindiua FC's Washington do Vale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lagoinas SC. After a defensive mix-up in Quindiua FC's zone, Raimundo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Barreto came out of the goal and Raimundo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donatello Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Figueiredo in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Jonas Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagoinas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Raimundo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quindiua FC's zone, Jonas Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Barreto came out of the goal and Jonas Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Cruz in the 86th minute of play forced Quindiua FC's goalkeeper Donatello Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Jonas Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Lagoinas SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
