Wiliam Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charito AD's goalkeeper Wiliam Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manoel Correia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Claudinho Moura made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brejinho's Oséias Sampaio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolo de Godoy hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséias Sampaio was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Claudinho Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charito AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Brejinho's Manolo de Godoy got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcinho Toledo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Charito AD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Moura made a kick off. Ulysses Amorim spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Charito AD's goal. Ulysses Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wiliam Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wanderson Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Charito AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Vidal couldn't finish the play. Wiliam Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Amorim in the 81st minute of play. Manolo de Godoy's late challenge caught a Charito AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manolo de Godoy helped the player get up and apologised. Manolo de Godoy hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Oséias Sampaio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manoel Correia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armindo Rosado in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armindo Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Charito AD echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Brejinho had held the ball for most of the match.
