André Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo da Fonseca in the 3rd minute of play. If Valério Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Bueno got free with André Baiano in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valério Paraense in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Baiano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sandrinho Leal. Valério Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aningas EC's Júnior Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Gonçalves in the 23rd minute of play. Júnior Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Paraense's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. André Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Rodrigo da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of André Baiano. Ipiabas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Júnior Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardel Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Abraão having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Rodrigo da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of André Baiano. Ipiabas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ipiabas's André Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ipiabas from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo da Fonseca got free with André Baiano in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Meira in the 46th minute of play forced Ipiabas's goalkeeper André Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Júnior Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gualter Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Júnior Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipiabas. After 57 played minutes, Aningas EC's Benjamin Gaspar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Baiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aningas EC reached it. Benê Meira took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Baiano. André Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Aningas EC's Júnior Abraão got control of the ball when Valério Paraense tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Benê Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Bueno in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Jardel Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Ipiabas's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Meira came free, but André Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ipiabas booed when Aningas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertinho Faria lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Ipiabas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aningas EC:s goal. The referee gave Aningas EC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mário Mendes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ipiabas's André Baiano. 4-1. 97 minutes into the match, Ipiabas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo da Fonseca came free, but André Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gualter Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ipiabas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
