Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silas Passos made the kick off which started today's match. Vicente Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Favoretto having to interfere. Aílton Favoretto stood somewhat misplaced when Vicente Cearense came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Walmyr Toscano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Aílton Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Boys. 10 minutes into the match, Vicente Cearense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aílton Favoretto, 2-0. Váldson Siqueira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Aílton Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquim Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cássio Cunha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Passos in the 28th minute of play forced Golden Boys's goalkeeper Joaquim Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Conrado Mumbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmyr Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Favoretto having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Silas Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mascarenhas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Boys the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Mascarenhas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Passos to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Cearense to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mascarenhas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Cearense came free, but Aílton Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, César Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Boys and the Mascarenhas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golden Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Ramón Berger walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 60th match minute, Mascarenhas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mascarenhas SS's zone, Vicente Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Favoretto came out of the goal and Vicente Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Walmyr Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, Golden Boys's Vicente Cearense made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aílton Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aílton Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Toscano in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Cássio Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Joaquim Simão made a huge save. Vicente Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Golden Boys's Vicente Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Golden Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
