Aílton Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Netto in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Navalha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Emerson de Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aílton Félix. Navalha SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Docimhas's Fábio Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Docimhas from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the game, Dito Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Docimhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Navalha SC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Dito Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Elivélton Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Docimhas and the Navalha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Mesquita went to the wrong direction when Bernardinho Pinheiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. José Augusto Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Mesquita having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Jacinto Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Docimhas and the Navalha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Docimhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Douglas Netto made a precise shot to the right of Aílton Félix. Navalha SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. José Augusto Alves in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fábio Mesquita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fábio Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Marquez in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Navalha SC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Marquez. Henrique Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hélio Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Docimhas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hélio Maciel hit a great ball. Henrique Marquez took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Mesquita. Fábio Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Marquez in the 64th minute of play forced Docimhas's goalkeeper Fábio Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Netto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, José Augusto Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navalha SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Navalha SC's goalkeeper Aílton Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson de Toledo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Netto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Félix saved Navalha SC from getting behind. Bernardinho Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
