Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Abreu started the match with the kick off. If João Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roberto de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Abraão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severino Pontes firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Pena in the 21st minute of play forced Iraty Sport Club's goalkeeper Roberto de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeferson Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Magno Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute João Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iraty Sport Club's zone, Magno Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto de Mendonça came out of the goal and Magno Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Magno Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeferson Peres struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Roberto de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambauba. Magno Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Mendonça having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Jeferson Peres notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Iraty Sport Club's Roberto de Mendonça. Roberto de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Cambauba were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Brito's late challenge caught a Cambauba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdomiro Brito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Iraty Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Brito to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Magno Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambauba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iraty Sport Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Roberto de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Magno Pena sent off a good shot on target. Christiano Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Severino Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Abraão went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Vergílio during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Magno Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Clóvis Correia's late challenge caught a Cambauba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Correia helped the player get up and apologised. If Jeferson Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Magno Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Roberto de Mendonça made a huge save. A collision led to Iraty Sport Club getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Telmo Gonçalves hit a great ball. Roberto de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Peres in the 97th minute of the match. Severino Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cambauba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
