In the 14thth minute of the game Jefferson Arósio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bicanca SC's Jairo Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bicanca SC's zone, Jefferson Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Matorin came out of the goal and Jefferson Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Arósio in the 60th minute of the match. Jairo Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicanca SC's protests and gave José Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, José Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Ramos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Emerson Dracena sent off a good shot on target. When Agenor Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Arósio couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Bicanca SC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Lucas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Arósio in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bicanca SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
