Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Clementina's Luizinho Matorin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, one of Clementina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clementina. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Pirapituba AD. Beto Rocha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joélson Urbano. 0-1. Antônio Carlos Gaúcho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clementina's zone, Beto Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Urbano came out of the goal and Beto Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Abel Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Pirapituba AD's goalkeeper Américo Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ediberto da Mata. Gerson Freire struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Joélson Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirapituba AD. Joélson Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Rocha in the 23rd minute of the match. Romário Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joélson Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Américo Leal made a huge save. Joélson Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerson Freire went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Antônio Carlos Gaúcho took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Américo Leal to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the game, Clementina's Ediberto da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Américo Leal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Joélson Urbano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirapituba AD's Romário Quirino. But to his dismay, Romário Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Pirapituba AD's Américo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto da Mata in the 52nd minute of play. Américo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Américo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto da Mata in the 56th minute of the match. Ediberto da Mata scored 3-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Américo Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Didi Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Gerson Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Pirapituba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Matorin came free, but Américo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pirapituba AD's Davi França got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes, Clementina's Dito Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Américo Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clementina reached it. The supporters of Clementina booed when Pirapituba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pirapituba AD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gerson Freire hit a great ball. Clementina's Joélson Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Freire in the 75th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Clementina's Luizinho Matorin made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Américo Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Beto Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Joélson Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerson Freire hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Américo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pirapituba AD's Romário Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
