Cacá Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Anderson Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selado AD and the Mexerica Mecanica F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anderson Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Murillo Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Túlio Costa made a huge save. Anderson Pena struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Túlio Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selado AD. Murillo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Túlio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anderson Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Mexerica Mecanica F.C's Luiz Paulo Hames nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Murillo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Pena in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Selado AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Porto came free, but Cacá Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Porto in the 61st minute of play forced Selado AD's goalkeeper Cacá Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Selado AD booed when Mexerica Mecanica F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Cosme hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Pena in the 76th minute of play forced Mexerica Mecanica F.C's goalkeeper Túlio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Costa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Selado AD's Emanuel Freire got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dênis Porto in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá Machado saved Selado AD from getting behind. If Luiz Paulo Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Mexerica Mecanica F.C's Dênis Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cacá Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexerica Mecanica F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
