Charles Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Charles Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dalmo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Charles Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Vidal couldn't finish the play. Oscar Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Vidal in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Ariquemes getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rafa Nóbrega hit a great ball. With his leg Oscar Ceresso managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Galo do Japi's Charles Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dalmo Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Charles Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ceresso having to interfere. Charles Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Charles Vidal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oscar Ceresso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Raí Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Vieira in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Charles Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Ariquemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dalmo Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ariquemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Vieira couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Vale hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Vale. After 93 played minutes Ariquemes got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr da Mata. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
