One of Cassinum EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goyanninha EC:s goal. In the 11th minute, Tony Prestes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goyanninha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cassinum EC's Zé Augusto Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto do Nascimento in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Tony Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zé Augusto Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tony Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Augusto Pombal having to make a save. João Augusto do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Prestes succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. In the 37th minute Dieguinho Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Augusto do Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. João Augusto do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Zé Augusto Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Augusto Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Zé Augusto Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cassinum EC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fernando das Neves hit a great ball. João Augusto do Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Augusto Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Augusto do Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Lauro Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Bittencourt in the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, Goyanninha EC's Lauro Souto got control of the ball when Dieguinho Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vito Sarmento hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyanninha EC's goalkeeper Lauro Souto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauro Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Luís Fabiano da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieguinho Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lauro Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dalmo Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cassinum EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Luís Fabiano da Silveira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Dieguinho Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Goyanninha EC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano da Silveira. Goyanninha EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cassinum EC for a fine match.
