Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dalmo Diniz kicked off to start the match. When Cássio Soares came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Satucaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Soares couldn't finish the play. Fabrício de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Luizão Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fabrício de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Satucaia's Cássio Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrício de Sousa. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Dalmo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício de Sousa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Naru EC defense, Luizão Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrício de Sousa. The Naru EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrício de Sousa should have stopped the shot. Fabrício de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Soares in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes, Gernando Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Satucaia and the Naru EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Satucaia's Gernando Zanette got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício de Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Soares was the one to do the kick off. If Vítor Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Satucaia booed when Naru EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Soares in the 66th minute of play forced Naru EC's goalkeeper Fabrício de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naru EC.
