Juninho Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão de Sena having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Sérgio Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. The VacaS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Edgar Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armandinho Pirani struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nilmar de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanamby. When Armandinho Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Guanamby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Pirani couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, André Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Pedrão de Sena. Guanamby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Guanamby's Pedrão de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Esteves in the 38th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, The VacaS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Brito to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Bittencourt in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Sérgio Baiano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Guanamby's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olívio Esteves 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. A collision led to Guanamby getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Túlio Marquez hit a great ball. When Sérgio Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the The VacaS fans jumped to their feet. In the 87th minute of the match, Olívio Esteves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedrão de Sena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juninho Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pedrão de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, The VacaS's Olívio Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The VacaS's Juninho Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The VacaS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
