The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Aleandro Eger came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lagedo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleandro Eger couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lagedo SS's Alexandre Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Lagedo SS from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eriberto Antunes sped through GUADALUPE C.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dé Jacinto. Lagedo SS's Eriberto Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Pereira in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Ian Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, GUADALUPE C.C's Falcão Sergipano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GUADALUPE C.C reached it. Dé Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleandro Eger in the 34th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Cauã Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GUADALUPE C.C and the Lagedo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GUADALUPE C.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cauã Moura hit a great ball. Dé Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Antunes in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Lagedo SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Luiz Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Nóbrega having to interfere. GUADALUPE C.C's André Luiz Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleandro Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dé Jacinto made a huge save. When Basílio Reis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alexandre Nóbrega was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lagedo SS's Ian Carneiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. When André Luiz Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the GUADALUPE C.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luiz Pereira couldn't finish the play. If Basílio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basílio Reis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GUADALUPE C.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Reis couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Aleandro Eger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dé Jacinto. The goal made the score 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lagedo SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
