Arí Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arí Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arí Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. GUADALUPE C.C's Basílio Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GUADALUPE C.C's zone, Enéas Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Jacinto came out of the goal and Enéas Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilson Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Jacinto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GUADALUPE C.C's Cauã Moura got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Enéas Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Gilson Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorizon EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorizon EC's Fernão Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Pereira in the 33rd minute of play. If André Luiz Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dorizon EC's Afonsinho Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Francisco de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Severo was the one to do the kick off. Gilson Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Jacinto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gilson Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorizon EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute André Luiz Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernão Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GUADALUPE C.C defense, Gilson Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé Jacinto. The GUADALUPE C.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Dé Jacinto came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dorizon EC's Gilson Severo. But to his dismay, Gilson Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Afonsinho Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilson Severo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dé Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorizon EC. With a little luck, Dorizon EC's Fernão Linhares got control of the ball when Basílio Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dorizon EC fully deserved thier win.
