Eusébio Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curima AD. If Kaká Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Hermes in the 12th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Kaká Lopez in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 16th minute, Kaká Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Renan Dantas. Curima AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 25th play minutes Kaká Lopez shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Renan Dantas and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Delfim Hermes from a close distance when the talented Eusébio Brodel managed to make a qualified save. Deodoro AD's players were relieved. Delfim Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adhemar Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Deodoro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Matorin couldn't finish the play. Edmílson Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Deodoro AD were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Lopez to make the kick off. Acácio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eusébio Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Dantas having to interfere. Adhemar Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Dantas having to make a save. 63 minutes into the game, Percival de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deodoro AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curima AD the free kick. After 64 played minutes Deodoro AD got a freekick which was hit by Percival de Almeida. Renan Dantas made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Luiz Gustavo Torres sent off a good shot on target. Renan Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Lopez in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Curima AD's Renan Dantas got control of the ball when Adhemar Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curima AD's Delfim Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Zonta lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Curima AD. Humberto Pernambucano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusébio Brodel. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Acácio Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Brodel was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Acácio Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Denílson dos Santos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Deodoro AD's Adhemar Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
