Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tostão Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wilton Abraão took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Torres. Percy Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wilton Abraãos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Percy Torres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Murillo Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Grossas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sebastião Gaspar hit a great ball. Murillo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Machado in the 22nd minute of the match. Tostão Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Torres having to make a save. Percy Torres came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Tamaquari's Wilton Abraão. But to his dismay, Wilton Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joel Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tostão Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Percy Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Freitas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Tostão Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute of the match Grossas got a corner. Tamaquari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodoro Paraíba ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Grossas's Teodoro Paraíba to fire away a dangerous shot which Murillo Coelho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tostão Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percy Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tostão Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilton Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Percy Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roberto de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grossas's protests and gave Roberto de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grossas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Roberto de Mendonça hit a great ball. Tostão Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Grossas's zone, Wilton Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Torres came out of the goal and Wilton Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Adelino Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grossas's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Lima in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murillo Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sydney Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Torres having to interfere. Adelino Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Coelho having to interfere. Wilton Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Tamaquari's Wilton Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tamaquari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
