An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Silvério de Barros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério de Barros got free with Tiaguinho Porto in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Grămescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Godoi in the 20th minute of the match. BELA VISTA FC's Iulian Grămescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Godoi in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Sidney Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguarary FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BELA VISTA FC the free kick. João Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tiaguinho Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when João Moraes made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, João Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho Porto. Jaguarary FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. BELA VISTA FC's Iulian Grămescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save BELA VISTA FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 64 minutes, João Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BELA VISTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Jaguarary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Correia to maneuver through the defense.
