Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernandinho Trancoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Paulinho Figueiredo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedito Gaspar to make any attempt to save it. Benedito Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Frade AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barcelos EC:s goal. 18 minutes into the match, Frade AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Trancoso came free, but Luiz Fernando Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Barcelos EC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Trancoso. Ulysses Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Barcelos EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Tande to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 27 in the game by Geovani Pombal from a close distance when the talented Benedito Gaspar managed to make a qualified save. Barcelos EC's players were relieved. In the 28th minute of the match, Dráusio Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benedito Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute Allan Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandinho Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Luiz Fernando Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelos EC. 41 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelos EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frade AD the free kick. In the 41st minute, one of Barcelos EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barcelos EC. Barcelos EC:s Benedito Gaspar showed great skill when he stopped Nildo Reis:s penalty. 44 minutes into the match, Geovani Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Gaspar. Barcelos EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Barcelos EC's zone, Geovani Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Gaspar came out of the goal and Geovani Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulysses Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Geovani Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Frade AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Pombal couldn't finish the play. Frade AD's Dráusio Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedito Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Pombal in the 59th minute of play. Allan Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luiz Fernando Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Frade AD's Geovani Pombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play, Frade AD's Geovani Pombal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Frade AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Trancoso came free, but Luiz Fernando Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Jonathan Veloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frade AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelos EC the free kick. A collision led to Frade AD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jonathan Veloso hit a great ball. In the 84th play minute Allan Viana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Fernando Neves. 3-2. If Fernandinho Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frade AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barcelos EC for a fine match.
