Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pelotas's Cristiano Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Koehler in the 4th minute of play. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cristiano Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Costa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Betinho Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Costa during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Baltazar Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabrício Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Koehler in the 20th minute of play forced Pelotas's goalkeeper Cristiano Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basílio de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuca Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Vianna in the 28th minute. Samuca Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio de Sena went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Macario SC's Cléber Ceresso in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pelotas's goalie prevented a goal. Cristiano Romero came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Macario SC's Fabrício Koehler. But to his dismay, Fabrício Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Sidnei Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelotas's protests and gave Sidnei Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead.

In the 54th minute, Basílio de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cristiano Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Basílio de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Macario SC's Samuca Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Vianna in the 75th minute of play. Flávio Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Dantas having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Cristiano Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Basílio de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macario SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrício Koehler struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Cristiano Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macario SC. Basílio de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Koehler struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cristiano Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macario SC. The Pelotas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Macario SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
