Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertinho Rossi started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes, Klopper FC's Cesinha Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Régis Vander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Klopper FC reached it. Duarte Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Albertinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Augusto Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fausto Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Duarte Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes, Walmir Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHANTOM F. C. and the Klopper FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Klopper FC booed when PHANTOM F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Albertinho Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klopper FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertinho Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Régis Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klopper FC's Duarte Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Augusto Batista made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, PHANTOM F. C.'s Fausto Linhares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, PHANTOM F. C.'s Jano Arósio got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PHANTOM F. C.'s zone, Albertinho Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Vander came out of the goal and Albertinho Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Klopper FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Batista came free, but Eduardo Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, one of Klopper FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for PHANTOM F. C.. Olavo de Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eduardo Britto. 0-2. Fausto Linhares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eduardo Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dito Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eduardo Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Duarte Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PHANTOM F. C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
