Caratuva's Elano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Gomes in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Caratuva's Osvaldo de Godoy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Perivaldo Jacinto. Perivaldo Jacinto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Perivaldo Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Martins in the 19th minute of play. Osvaldo de Godoy struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Perivaldo Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caratuva. When Christian Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arno FC's protests and gave Christian Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arno FC's Christian Zonta got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arno FC's zone, Benedykt Pyrzyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Jacinto came out of the goal and Benedykt Pyrzyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo de Godoy made a kick off. When Frédson Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Arno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Gomes couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedykt Pyrzyce during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caratuva's Benedykt Pyrzyce got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Dagoberto Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo de Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perivaldo Jacinto was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Dagoberto Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perivaldo Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo de Godoy in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Jacinto saved Arno FC from getting behind. Arno FC's Perivaldo Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo de Godoy in the 92nd minute of play.
