Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvaldo de Godoy started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Roberto Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Traru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caratuva the free kick. Roberto Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Richard Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Pyrzyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Pyrzyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Custódio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Richard Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Caratuva's Osvaldo de Godoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulão Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caratuva's zone, Custódio Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Esteves came out of the goal and Custódio Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Sabóia got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 25th match minute, Traru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. If Osvaldo de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richard Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Caratuva's Dagoberto Terra got a free kick in the 30th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Traru's Guilherme Mangueira tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Custódio Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Traru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Custódio Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elano Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Custódio Tepedino in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elano Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo de Godoy in the 55th minute of play. Richard Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo de Godoy in the 56th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Traru's goalkeeper Richard Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caratuva's Elano Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Caratuva from getting a goal against them. In the 75thth minute of the game Osvaldo de Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Traru's Richard Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Custódio Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elano Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Paulão Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caratuva's Elano Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Caratuva from getting a goal against them. Benedykt Pyrzyce struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Richard Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caratuva. Richard Perez came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caratuva's Osvaldo de Godoy. But to his dismay, Osvaldo de Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Custódio Tepedino took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Elano Esteves to make any attempt to save it. The Traru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Traru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
