Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Luiz Toledo started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Gaivota's Luisão Soares threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sílvio Luiz Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Róbson Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luisão Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbson Pires in the 13th minute. Luisão Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luiz Toledo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 17 played minutes Gaivota got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Toledo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Fontes in the 19th minute of play forced Gaivota's goalkeeper Carlos Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Correia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gaivota's Allan de Sena got a free kick in the 29th minute. Allan de Sena hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gaivota's zone, João Pedro Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Correia came out of the goal and João Pedro Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Pedro Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Correia having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Damião to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luís Fábio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Correia having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Kiko Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaivota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Baba Futebol Clube's Zé Roberto Loureiro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Pires in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Róbson Pires came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gaivota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Pires couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisão Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Toledo in the 82nd minute of play forced Baba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Luisão Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Róbson Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, Gaivota's Sílvio Luiz Toledo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisão Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute of the match, Luís Fábio Fontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Correia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaivota's Carlos Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gaivota from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Baba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Paraibano to maneuver through the defense.
