Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafinha Cunha started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, João Carlos Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desengano EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raí Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match Rui Moreno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonsinho Prado skillfully saved the ball. Eusébio Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Rafinha Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moleque Travesso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Dias in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Andrade saved Moleque Travesso from getting behind. A collision led to Desengano EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Raí Pirani hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Samuel Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moleque Travesso and the Desengano EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 minutes of play, Desengano EC's João Carlos Dias made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desengano EC's Afonsinho Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Desengano EC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute João Carlos Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joaquim Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moleque Travesso's Joaquim Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Dias in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raí Pirani made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Desengano EC's Joaquim Andrade threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raí Pirani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute, João Carlos Dias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 60 minutes, Raí Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desengano EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raí Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raí Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Andrade having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Raimundo de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moleque Travesso's Joaquim Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Moleque Travesso from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, one of Desengano EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Desengano EC. João Carlos Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Joaquim Andrade made a huge save. Desengano EC's Afonsinho Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Messias in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Eusébio Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonsinho Prado. Desengano EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Desengano EC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
