Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evaristo Souza made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Jarbas Ramos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Canuma SS's Marcelinho Nogueira. Marcelinho Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lauro Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco de Godoi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Canuma SS's Marco de Godoi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tuounare AD's goalie prevented a goal. Jarbas Ramos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 19th playminute. In the 22nd minute, Jarbas Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 25th minute Evaristo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Canuma SS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edmílson Amaral hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Marco de Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Canuma SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Evaristo Souza scored to the left of an out of position Marcelinho Nogueira, making the score, 4-3. After a rather tough play, Canuma SS's Serafim Vargas got a free kick in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Canuma SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Ramos came free, but Marcelinho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Edmílson Amaral notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Tuounare AD's Lauro Saldanha. Lauro Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco de Godoi to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Marco de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuounare AD's Lauro Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco de Godoi in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Edmílson Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canuma SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Canuma SS's Lauro Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Amaral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Alves got free with Lauro Saldanha in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Meireles's late challenge caught a Canuma SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute Marco de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Lauro Saldanha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Tuounare AD's zone, Marco de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Saldanha came out of the goal and Marco de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Tuounare AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Canuma SS:s goal. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Canuma SS. Anderson Negri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lauro Saldanha. 4-5. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 82nd minute, but Lauro Saldanha got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Tuounare AD hanging dry this time. After 84 played minutes Tuounare AD got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Castro. Marco de Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lauro Saldanha came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco de Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 4-6 in the 86th minute. Leopoldo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Souza in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco de Godoi in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Saldanha saved Tuounare AD from getting behind.
