The supporters of Santos F.C booed when Jaracatiara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belchior Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Belchior Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mikolaj Ciszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Simões hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Raí Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Belchior Linares succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. 48 minutes into the game, Dominik Degryse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaracatiara FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santos F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Jaracatiara FC's Cícero Sá got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mikolaj Ciszewski. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belchior Linares to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ademir Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 88th minute, Geovani Hames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belchior Linares came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raí Nóbrega could save by the left post. After 92nd play minutes Belchior Linares shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Raí Nóbrega and just under the crossbar into goal. After 97 minutes Jaracatiara FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geovani Hames who took care of the corner kick. Geovani Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Raí Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos F.C played a much better game than Jaracatiara FC and deserved their victory. The Jaracatiara FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
