In the 27th minute of the match, Belchior Linares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivo Goiano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th match minute, Santos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Dínamo F.C.'s goalkeeper Ivo Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belchior Linares. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Belchior Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Neiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mikolaj Ciszewski. Santos F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Belchior Linares took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Goiano. Ivo Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Belchior Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ivo Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dínamo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Goiano should have stopped the shot. If Belchior Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flávio Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mikolaj Ciszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos F.C's Mikolaj Ciszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Santos F.C from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes, Délio Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos F.C and the Dínamo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Santos F.C were the better team. Santos F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
