Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Arósio kicked off to start the match. Gildo Seco hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Charles Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Arósio's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Reynaldo Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Baje EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Arósio couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Baje EC's Reynaldo Arósio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Délio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Souza in the 32nd minute of play forced Ipojuca SC's goalkeeper Charles Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Baje EC's Délio Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dagoberto Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Hames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Dorian Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baje EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Paraense was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Kléberson Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baje EC and the Ipojuca SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaká Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Hames having to interfere. Dagoberto Paraense took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Hames. José Maria Hames dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dagoberto Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Hames having to interfere. Reynaldo Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Santana having to interfere. Charles Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Souza in the 66th minute. Délio Souza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Charles Santana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Délio Souza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Arósio in the 75th minute of play forced Ipojuca SC's goalkeeper Charles Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Hames came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipojuca SC's Kaká Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Kaká Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Délio Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Santana having to interfere. If Reynaldo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Arósio in the 93rd minute of the match.
