The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lino Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique de Amorim in the 6th minute. Narciso Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Chiquinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Silveira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Arapoema AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Matías Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batovi's Enrique de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chiquinho Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Prado in the 28th minute of the match. Enrique de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Viana having to interfere. If Enrique de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Frédson Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arapoema AD's Narciso Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 48 played minutes Frédson Almeida could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mané Prado made the kick off in the second half. Frédson Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frédson Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Frédson Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arapoema AD's Narciso Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique de Amorim in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Arapoema AD got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Queiroz. 74 minutes into the match, Frédson Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Viana. Arapoema AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frédson Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Frédson Almeida sped through Arapoema AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Narciso Viana. Narciso Viana came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Batovi's Frédson Almeida. But to his dismay, Frédson Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some careless play in the Arapoema AD defense, Frédson Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Viana. The Arapoema AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Viana should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frédson Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batovi's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique de Amorim in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Batovi fully deserved thier win.
