Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mané Prado kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Arapoema AD's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Gaspar came free, but Narciso Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Franklin Bricaud notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arapoema AD's Narciso Viana. Narciso Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Mané Prado came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Arapoema AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Prado couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Bricaud in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Viana saved Arapoema AD from getting behind. Valdir Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Viana having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Arapoema AD got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Cardozo. Narciso Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Franklin Bricaud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of BAHIA booed when Arapoema AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Bricaud struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Narciso Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAHIA. Franklin Bricaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Narciso Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Bricaud in the 38th minute of play forced Arapoema AD's goalkeeper Narciso Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Hoffmann got free with Richard Carvalho in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Franklin Bricaud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Viana was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, BAHIA's Valdir Gaúcho got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Richard Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Bricaud made a kick off. Narciso Viana stood somewhat misplaced when Franklin Bricaud came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 51 minute. If Franklin Bricaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Orlando Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute BAHIA were awarded a corner. Franklin Bricaud went to the cornerflag to take it. BAHIA's Franklin Bricaud was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Narciso Viana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arapoema AD's Narciso Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Arapoema AD from getting a goal against them. Narciso Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Bricaud in the 71st minute. Luiz Fábio Alvarenga hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Orlando Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. BAHIA's Vicente Medeiros was substituted for Orlando Gaspar. Vicente Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Alvarenga in the 88th minute of play forced Arapoema AD's goalkeeper Narciso Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Bricaud who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Viana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Arapoema AD's Matías Prata got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Arapoema AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BAHIA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
