Aluísio de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guto Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Quipapa SS defense, Eusébio Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Furtado. The Quipapa SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Furtado should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aluísio de Godoy in the 29th minute. Aluísio de Godoy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Sabóia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Aluísio de Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Celsinho Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quipapa SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SEM NOÇÃO the free kick. In the 38th minute, Celsinho Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Jorginho Figueiredo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quipapa SS's Leandro Furtado didn't even have to move. Leandro Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Eusébio Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Quipapa SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SEM NOÇÃO were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breno Travassos made a kick off. Jonathan Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aluísio de Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Cássio Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Eusébio Neiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Furtado, 0-2. If Eusébio Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SEM NOÇÃO's Rubens Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Eusébio Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Quipapa SS's Leandro Furtado got control of the ball when Rubens Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusébio Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Quipapa SS got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Borges. Leandro Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aluísio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SEM NOÇÃO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
