In the 30th match minute, Atlético Salestino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Wilson da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gualter Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Wilson da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Salestino's goalkeeper Gualter Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gualter Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Wilson da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Pombal struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gualter Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MACEDO SPORT CLUB. After having played for 57 minutes, Wilson da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MACEDO SPORT CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wilson da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Pombal took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Souza. Gualter Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, Atlético Salestino's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson da Fonseca came free, but Gualter Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Souza stood somewhat misplaced when Wilson da Fonseca came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 75 minute. If Charles Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Renatinho Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Souza having to interfere. Gualter Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson da Fonseca in the 92nd minute of the match. Gualter Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Pombals short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Gualter Souza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
