Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Jorge Motta fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C. Atlético Fernanda's protests and gave Jorge Motta a yellow card for diving instead. When Amílton Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the E.C. Atlético Fernanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Galvão couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Erasmo Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felippe Novaes. Xiriri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felippe Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Galvão in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Erasmo Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xiriri's Felippe Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xiriri's Felippe Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Couto in the 29th minute of play. Felippe Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Couto in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Xiriri booed when E.C. Atlético Fernanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, E.C. Atlético Fernanda's João Pedro Barral got a free kick in the 41st minute. Felippe Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Galvão in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Amílton Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C. Atlético Fernanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Franklin Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Couto in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felippe Novaes saved Xiriri from getting behind. João Pedro Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Renato Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felippe Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Felippe Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Couto in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Xiriri got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Martins. Amílton Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felippe Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Erasmo Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felippe Novaes. Erasmo Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Amílton Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xiriri's Genílson Martins got a free kick in the 84th minute. Xiriri's Felippe Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Xiriri from getting a goal against them. When Erasmo Couto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the E.C. Atlético Fernanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Couto couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, E.C. Atlético Fernanda's Erasmo Couto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felippe Novaes. Felippe Novaes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Erasmo Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The E.C. Atlético Fernanda players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
