After 2 played minutes Quirimbuquer got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Pinho. Frank Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Quirimbuquer's Armindo Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 21 played minutes Macao SS got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Nóbrega. Frank Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Pinho in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Reynaldo Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute André Luís Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Leopoldo Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Rosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Luís Nóbrega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armindo Vale in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank Vasconcelos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Macao SS were furious when Rafael Pinho was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Macao SS! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Quirimbuquer. Natã Tróia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frank Vasconcelos. 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Macao SS's goalkeeper Frank Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armindo Vale. Frank Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Vale's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. A collision led to Macao SS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luís Fernando Mota hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Leopoldo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quirimbuquer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes Macao SS got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cordeiro. Frank Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Pinho in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Pinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Vasconcelos. Leopoldo Pinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 86th minute of the match Gonçalo Pinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Vasconcelos skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macao SS's zone, Armindo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Armindo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Pinho in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Vasconcelos saved Macao SS from getting behind. Armindo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Vasconcelos having to interfere. Basílio Veloso hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Armindo Vales short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Frank Vasconcelos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leopoldo Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Frank Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reynaldo Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Macao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Matorin couldn't finish the play. Quirimbuquer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
