Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Geraldo Valladares made the kick off and thus started the match. Fabiano Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Teixeira in the 4th minute of play. Paulo Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Amaral hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 15th of the match, Geraldo Valladares tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Andrézinho de Souza got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 16 played minutes Sapataria got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Lira. Sapataria's Andrézinho de Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sapataria from getting a goal against them. Zé Paulo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Valladares in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho de Souza saved Sapataria from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Baltazar Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Linhares struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fabiano Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapataria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Recife in the 37th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Fabiano Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Recife came free, but Fabiano Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Teixeira scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Sapataria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Recife made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Correia. Raimundo Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fabiano Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapataria. If Raimundo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Recife in the 61st minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Fabiano Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Recife came free, but Fabiano Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Raimundo Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapataria's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Reis having to make a save. When Rodolfo Recife came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sapataria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Recife couldn't finish the play. If Geraldo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sapataria's Andrézinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Valladares in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Zé Paulo Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Reis having to make a save. Andrézinho de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Zé Paulo Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andrézinho de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho de Souza having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sapataria had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
